Word Games

Word games are the oldest puzzles we have. Long before screens, people traded riddles, anagrams and crosswords, and the pleasure has always been the same: a jumble of letters that means nothing, and then, all at once, a word that was hiding in there the whole time. That little click is what our word games are built around.

On Zibble Games, word games follow the same house rules as everything else. The rules fit in a sentence. Any real word that fits the rules counts, so you are never guessing what the designer had in mind. Typos cost nothing, and a wrong word costs a little, never the whole game. And there is one shared puzzle a day, so when you compare notes with a friend you are talking about the same letters.

When you finish, you can share a result that shows how your game went without giving away a single letter. Nobody gets spoiled, and anyone who sees it can tap the link and try the same puzzle. Everything plays in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no download and no account.

The first game here is Letterloaf, a daily word game where the loaf rises one letter at a time. You start from a short word, and each new layer adds one letter that you must fold into a longer word, until the loaf is baked at eight letters.
