About Wobbly Delivery

Wobbly Delivery is a delivery driving game about one small van, a lot of hills and a load that really does not want to stay put. Crates, parcels, birthday cakes, jelly blocks and Grandma’s favourite vase ride in an open bed behind the cab, each with a face that tells you how it feels about your driving. Every bump makes the stack shift. Take a crest too fast and the top piece hops; land a jump badly and something tumbles into the dirt behind you.

The trick is speed control. Two pedals are all you get: gas and brake. On the ground they move the van; in the air they lean it, so a good landing is something you can learn. Steady throttle up the climbs, a light touch over the top, a squeeze of the brake before every drop. When a piece falls out you simply drive on and deliver what is left. Stars count what arrives, so a messy delivery still moves you forward.

Routes are short, from about half a minute on the first ones to a few minutes later on. Every five routes something new joins the road or the load: wooden bridges, ramps, fragile cakes, loose gravel, wobbly jelly towers, sticky mud, a town full of speed humps, Grandma’s vase and night driving. Checkpoint flags along each route save your place, so a tipped van costs you seconds rather than the whole run.

When you want something longer, try the Long haul: one road that keeps getting rougher, with a depot every 500 m where you stop to bank your load and pick up one more piece. Three dropped pieces end the run. Your best haul goes on the all-time board. And every day there is a new Daily route that is the same for everyone, driven in the same stock van, with a streak to keep and a result to share.

How to play

  1. Hold GAS to drive. Ease off on crests so the stack in the back does not jump.
  2. Hold BRAKE to slow down before drops, or to reverse when you are stopped.
  3. In the air, GAS leans the van back and BRAKE tips the nose down. Land on all four wheels.
  4. Watch the faces in the bed: their eyes go wide when a piece starts to tilt or lift.
  5. Stop inside the depot under the striped awning to deliver. Every piece that is still in the bed counts: all of them earns 3 stars, half of them 2, one of them 1.
  6. Tipped over or lost everything? Retry from the last checkpoint flag. It is free and instant.

Controls

InputWhat it does
TouchHold the right half of the screen for gas, the left half to brake (the sides can be swapped in Settings)
MouseHold the left button on the right half for gas, on the left half to brake
KeyboardRight arrow, D, Up or W for gas; Left arrow, A, Down or S to brake and reverse
KeyboardR twice restarts from the last flag, P or Esc pauses, M mutes, F goes fullscreen
GamepadRight trigger or A for gas (the trigger is analogue), left trigger, B or X to brake, Start pauses

Tips

  • Pull away gently. A full-throttle start can slide a tall stack straight off the back.
  • Brake before a drop, not on it. A van that lands nose first throws its top piece forward.
  • Cakes have a cracked-glass sticker: a hard landing splats them, so coast over the bumps.
  • Grandma's vase is tall and tippy. If it lies on its side for a second, it is lost.
  • Air time and wheelies pay a few bonus coins, but they never change your stars.

FAQ

Is Wobbly Delivery free?

Yes. It plays in your browser with nothing to download and no account. Your routes, stars, coins and garage are saved in this browser.

Is there fuel or a timer?

No. Routes end at the depot, a Long haul ends when three pieces have fallen out or the van tips, and you can take as long as you like.

What does the Garage do?

Coins from deliveries buy three upgrades: softer suspension, grippier tyres (level 2 also drives the front wheel) and a stronger engine. About 25 routes of coins buy everything. No route needs an upgrade, and there is nothing to buy with real money. Paints unlock with stars and hats with your Daily streak.

How do ads work here?

A short ad may play when you press Next route, Play again or Menu after a finished route or haul: never in your first 2 minutes or first 2 deliveries, never during a route, never after a retry, and at least 2.5 minutes apart. When an ad is ready you can choose to watch one to double a delivery's coins, repack the full load at the last flag, or try once more from the last Long haul depot. You never have to: a tip jar doubles every third delivery, the Repack is free after two failed tries, and Retry is always free. The Daily route has no ads at all.

How does the Daily route work?

Everyone drives the same three-leg route each UTC day, about 1,200 m with five pieces and a vase on top, in the same stock van so upgrades never matter. You score 600 per piece delivered, a time bonus if you reach the depot, and a little for tricks. Your first run goes on the leaderboard; later runs that day are practice. If you reload or close the page mid-leg, the run resumes from the last checkpoint flag with the same pieces and the same clock.

What does Share copy?

The Daily number, your time, how many pieces you delivered and your streak, with a link. Never your name or any id.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes, held either way. Upright, the road is framed for one thumb on each side; sideways you see more road ahead.

Design notes

Driving games on the web tend to be either an obstacle course where one slip means restart, or a single egg on a roof. We wanted the cargo itself to be the story: a stack you can watch wobble, lean and sometimes topple, where delivering four pieces out of five still feels like a win. There is no fuel to run out of and no timer, checkpoint flags keep every mistake cheap, and the van gets better with coins you earn by playing. Every rule shows by shape as well as colour: fragile cakes carry a cracked-glass sticker, gravel is dotted, mud is hatched and signs warn you ten metres ahead.
